Plan Ahead…and Save Money at the 25th Annual Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival!

Helena-West Helena – This year’s Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival in historic Helena is one you DON’T want to miss! By planning ahead, you can save up to $5 per ticket.

Festival tickets, which allow ticket holders to access the main stage of the acclaimed festival, are $25 per person via Pay Pal. This includes admission to all three days of the festival, being held on Oct. 7-9.

Advance tickets may be purchased at Edwards’ Food Giant, a Blues King Sponsor of this year’s festival, for $23. A $3 coupon can be found at the back of all AT&T 2010 Yellow Pages throughout the region. With the coupon and advanced purchase at Food Giant, festival goers can save up to $5 per ticket. Tickets may be purchased at Edwards’ Food Giant locations in Helena-West Helena, Marianna, Forrest City, Harrisburg and Little Rock. Tickets will be available August 30 – October 1.

The $3 coupon is located on the last page of 2010 AT&T Yellow Pages. AT&T is a Primary Sponsor of the 2010 Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival.

Those who purchase tickets in advance at Food Giant stores will be entered into a drawing for a 2010 Arkansas Blues and Heritage Festival poster signed by all the artists performing at this year’s festival.

This year’s festival, the 25th annual, promises to be one of the best ever. This year’s lineup includes headliners B.B. King (Thursday, Oct. 7), Dr. John (Friday, Oct. 8 ) and Taj Mahal (Saturday, Oct. 9). The three-day event also features performances by Reba Russell, Paul Thorn, Kentucky Headhunters, Pinetop Perkins, Michael Burks, Marcia Ball, Anson Funderburg & The Rockets, Charlie Musselwhite, Bobby Rush, and many, many others. Performances will take place on the festival Main Stage, the Acoustic Stage, the Emerging Artists Stage, the Gospel Stage and the Bit O’ Blues Stage (featuring artists under the age of 17).

In addition to the best music around, the festival also offers a variety of food and beverage vendors, arts and craft vendors, a 5K/10K run, a blues symposium, a barbeque cook-off and activities for the entire family.
